The Orchids: Best of Show DVD was created by native Floridian James Miller, who is a photographer, videographer, session musician, composer, designer and writer with a life-long interest in orchids. He spent 21 years in Miami exploring the Everglades from the late 1950s through the mid 1970s, before moving to Tallahassee, where he has spent almost a decade studying local orchid populations, as well as working on the definitive documentary on native North American
carnivorous plants. Orchids: Best of Show is just the first in the "Orchid Hunters series! In the planning stages is a massive expedition that will photograph wild orchid populations in their natural habitat.
